PRESIDENT

Thank you for taking the time to learn about Macedonia Community Development Corporation of South Brevard (Macedonia CDC). Macedonia CDC is a certified 501(c)(3), Non-Profit Community Support Organization.
The Board of Directors and I have a strong desire to help create a suitable living environment for low income families in the South Brevard County area.
Macedonia CDC intends to reach its goals by providing affordable Housing and life skills to low income families in Brevard County; by helping families improve their living and social standards; as well as provide activities to achieve economic self-sufficiency and family stabilization.
We are truly passionate about providing affordable housing for low income families with a desired result of inspiring the people of the South Brevard County area to make a difference by improving the living conditions of the whole family and their community. Our expertise in property development includes both rehabilitation of dilapidated properties and new construction. Our management of rental properties, with over nine years of experience, enables us to provide solutions, direction and results that are substantive, applicable and effective.
In order to enhance our efforts in providing affordable housing, we have partnered Brevard County Commissioners, Brevard County Housing and Human Services Department, City of Melbourne, Community Housing Initiative, Habitat for Humanity, PREVENT! Of Brevard, and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. This partnership enhanced our efforts in acquiring and rehabilitating dilapidated properties in the South Brevard County area for very low, low, and moderate income families as part of the HUD neighborhood revitalization effort.
Macedonia CDC created a partnership with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church to form Macedonia Technology and Educational Academy. This partnership was developed to provide activities to achieve economic self-sufficiency and family stabilization to adults; to help adults obtain employment; identify ways for reaching out to help our children become better prepared to maximize their potential; and provide life skills to improve family living and social standards.
As you gain more insight about us in this website, I hope you will allow us the opportunity to partner and work with you toward providing affordable homes to those in need.
Sincerely,
Jerry P. Phillips
